Do You Have Trust Issues With God?

Lately, I do.

And the writer of Romans helped me rebuild a better foundation of my trust in God.

The writer talks about faith, salvation, Jews, Gentiles, mercy and grace then he cap it off with this doxology:

“Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!

How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!

“Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?”

“Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them?”

For FROM Him and THROUGH Him and FOR Him are ALL things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen.”
‭‭
Romans‬ ‭11:33-36‬ ‭NIV‬‬ (emphasis mine)

ALL things are FROM Him.
ALL things are THROUGH Him.
ALL things are FOR Him.

He doesn’t owe me a single cent.
I am in no position to argue with Him. But I do most of the time.

We cannot limit God to our needs and wants alone. He is way more bigger than that. And because of that, we can trust that He can fulfill His promises and He will, but all for His glory.

How about you, do you also find it hard to trust God? Share me your thoughts!

  1. I did and I am thankful for it. I went through a phase when I just despised Him. I wanted to quit my religion and turn into an atheist. BUT He works in mysterious ways. It took years to resolve my issues but I’m in a much better place now. All thanks to my issues and insecurities. 😀

      • Exactly Ji… 😊😊 but how about ji pag nag rebelde? Not really sa faith pero yung spiritual dryness? Like dati active ako sa choir sa church but nag lie low ako because feeling ko iba yung ministry ko… so feeling ng mga choir members nag rebelde na ako… hindi naman cguro pag rerebelde sa faith yan diba?

      • More than your ministry involvement, would rather be concerned with your personal relationship with Christ which involves “consistent” bible reading, prayer and fellowship with other believers. Establish that first and then let His Word reveal to you kung pagrerebelde nga ba yan o dryness. Then I hope you will respond in humility. 🙂

  2. Truth be told, yes..I also had my share of doubting God, but I erase that thought immediately because I know that my faith is bigger than my fears. He has better plans for me and will not set me up for failure. Keep your faith strong 🙂

  3. We believed you are growing in the Lord. Thanks for sharing your with us your experience of His love. We pray that God will prosper the works of your hands even more and that His presence be with you wherever you may be. Continue trusting in Him. As the scripture says “Better is one day in Your courts than a thousand elsewhere..”. God bless you.

      • We also put God first. And everything that we do, we do it to honor him. And it is amazing how God do wonderful works in us. So whatever it is you are going through, it has to happen because He set you apart for His purposes. In His own time, He will reveal everything to you. So continue to hang on, trust Him completely. For He is with you. 🙂

  4. Yup, we have our share of doubts 🙂
God, in His compassion, patiently lead us to right track. He has His own ways, and He never failed to amaze me. One time, I’m grumbling, then I stand in awe the very next moment.
